The only monster available now is the simbot but they're be more in future expansion packs so they're keeping they're terminology fluid. There are 3 different types of "monsters" if you have all the expansion packs.

If u want to do that just google the sims 3 all fruits mod. Then turn in the ten life fruits and you'll now have to turn in a heart cut pink diamond. This is the trickiest part. You'll have to manually without the miner collect ten different gems. I highly recommend having the collector helper life time happiness award, it tells u where to look for gems. So after u do that, you'll now need to find a pink diamond gem, the rarest gem.
In this case you'll find it very easily using a miner. After you find it, you'll need to send it in for it to be cut, make sure you select the heart cut that you unlocked after you found ten gems.
After you turn that in, it'd the last part. Turn in scraps, and you'll get a strange cap thing forgot the name! Just go back home, and in the inventors workbench, choose create mystery invention, and after a couple sim hours you'll have a simbot. Now, to get the monster creator award, just repeat this three times, I guess you'll need patience, it took me a whole day of gaming to get this, and probably also will you.

Why did you get rid of it? The Simbot I made is my son and will live with me forever! I even had to repair and reprogrammed him once. He mourns when an electronic breaks. He uses his jets to go to places in town. He smashes all the useless junk. Can he live forever? How do you sculpt metal?
