The holders are snug on a shell, and do have two distinct and different ends, so one can choose to have your shotgun shells either loaded for up or down extraction.

The cutout facing the sidewalls of the shotgun is a perfect snug fit to the rail on the gun meant for this mounting. Easy to install, works great. Perfect match to the ones that came already installed on a Mossberg Scorpion purchased last year. My most cruiser cam with 3, I added 6 and the mini shell adapter. Now it hold 9 in the tube and 18 on the sides. Easy to install. Package arrived on time an my add a shell 3 pack matched perfect with the ones on my mossberg scorpion although when you buy the weapon ATI should provide the full amount of shell holders.

So I purchased these, 6 more total so now I have 9 shells on my shotgun. Looks so nice! November 14, I am new to tactical shotguns but recently purchased a Mossberg ATI scorpion. It came with three extra shell holders on the side of the receiver but also had a place for an additional six.

They are high-quality and hold the shells just firm enough to where the shells can be removed without a lot of effort. This is a newer design than the original fully enclosed shell holders and look to last a long long time and will be fun learning how to do tactical reloads!
